The Net Return Simulator Series

For optimal display on our Simulator Series screen, it is recommended to use a 4:3 aspect ratio rather than a 16:9 aspect ratio, considering the squareness of our screen.

To determine the exact size of the picture that will be projected onto the Simulator Series screen with your specific projector model, you have two options:

  1. Consult the manufacturer’s projector distance calculator: Most projector manufacturers provide online calculators that allow you to input your projector model and desired screen size to calculate the ideal distance for projection. These calculators take into account various factors such as throw distance, zoom, and lens specifications to provide accurate results.
  2. Utilize a projector distance calculator: There are online projector distance calculators available that can help you determine the optimal distance for your projector model based on the desired screen size. These calculators typically require inputting information such as projector model, aspect ratio, screen size, and sometimes additional specifications to provide accurate results.

By utilizing either the manufacturer’s projector distance calculator or a third-party projector distance calculator, you can ensure that the projected image fits perfectly within the Simulator Series screen, maximizing the visual experience.

This allows you to plug in the projector model you are using, distance from screen, aspect ratio, etc. providing you with an exact picture size ahead of time.

Important Note – You will fill the width of your screen exactly. You will lose approximately 10″ off the top of your picture (dark space) due to the contrast ratio being used.

For an example of screen fill watch our product demonstration video below and note the picture loss (darkness) at the top of the screen.
